We got called out to Statesville to soft wash multiple properties for a local realtor - and this one was a good example of what we were dealing with across the board. Green algae streaking down the siding, grime caked along the lower courses, and buildup on the soffits and porch ceilings that had clearly been sitting there for a while. Not the kind of thing that cleans itself.

Here's the thing about soft washing - it's not just spraying water at a house. We use a low-pressure application with cleaning solutions designed to actually kill the organic growth at the source. Algae, mold, mildew - it gets into the surface and just blasting it with high pressure doesn't always cut it. Soft washing does. That's why it's the right call for vinyl siding, soffits, and painted surfaces where high pressure would cause more problems than it solves.

For a realtor managing multiple listings, first impressions are everything. A buyer pulls up to the house and makes a judgment call in seconds. Dirty siding, grimy porch ceilings, green streaks running down the walls - that stuff signals neglect, even if the house itself is in great shape. Getting the exterior cleaned before photos and showings is one of the lowest-cost, highest-impact things you can do to a property.

We moved through several houses on this run, hitting siding, soffits, porch ceilings, and foundation lines on each one. Every surface that had built-up dirt or organic growth got treated. The difference between before and after is the kind of thing that shows up clearly in listing photos and in person when buyers walk up to the front door.

If you've got a property - or a few - that need a clean exterior before going on the market, or just a home that's picked up some grime over the years, soft washing is the right tool for the job. It's safe on the surfaces and it actually gets rid of the problem instead of just pushing it around.
