This one had built up over time. The concrete across this Mooresville backyard was covered in a thick layer of green algae and mold - the kind that doesn't just look bad, it makes the surface slippery and rough underfoot. When an outdoor space gets to this point, a quick rinse isn't going to cut it. It needs real pressure washing.

We worked through the whole property - the main patio, a curved walkway bordered by a stone retaining wall, a covered outdoor kitchen area, and the pool deck. Each section had its own level of buildup, and some spots were worse than others. The covered areas especially tend to trap moisture and breed mold faster than surfaces out in the open sun.

That's what makes pressure washing such a practical service. It's not just about appearance - though the difference in how the concrete looks afterward is dramatic. Wet algae on a pool deck or patio walkway is a real slip hazard. Getting it off the surface means the space is genuinely safer to walk on, especially around a pool where wet feet are already part of the deal.

What we ended up with was clean, consistent concrete across every section of this backyard. The curved walkway next to the stone wall, the pool surround, the covered kitchen slab - all of it stripped back down to clean, solid concrete. No streaking, no missed sections. Just an even result from one end of the property to the other.

If your patio or pool deck is starting to look more green than gray, that's usually a sign it's been a while. It's one of those things that's easy to put off - but once you see the difference, you'll wish you hadn't waited.
